Walking in Heels Without Pain (For Dancers!)

If tango heels are giving you grief, you’re not alone. The good news? There are ways to make them feel like clouds (or at least less like torture devices).

👣 Strengthen your feet. Little foot exercises go a long way. Try scrunching a towel with your toes or doing toe lifts while brushing your teeth.

👟 Break in your shoes at home. Wear them on carpet or with socks for short intervals to soften the leather.

🧘‍♀️ Check your posture. Your heels should support your alignment—not fight it. Stack your hips over your heels, lift your chest, and let your head float.

💡 Bonus: Heels can actually help you find better posture and core engagement. The key is taking it slow and listening to your body.
